About Me
My name is Stuart Duncan, I'm a web developer from Ontario Canada. I've been working on coding websites since 2000 but I first got into making HTML websites in 97. It's been a long road since with many twists and turns but ultimately it's lead me to building a solid career in making the building blocks to many websites around the web.
I started out in 2000 working with Coldfusion but found myself making the switch to PHP the moment that the blue chip sector bottomed out. In hindesight, this was probably for the best as I don't think I'd have learned as much if I had always just stuck where I was.
I've since become quite fluent in PHP with MySQL backing it up, but I also have a very strong background in XML and Javascript. I've even created a few Firefox extensions using Javascript and XUL. You can see these at http://www.tycamtech.com (my company site).
